Current Interest Tradition

Interest Sensitive Whole Life and More

Combining the most attractive features of traditional whole life and universal life, Current Interest Tradition (CIT) is a permanent policy that has level, fixed premiums and provides a level death benefit through the insured's age 100. Like whole life, CIT provides guaranteed cash values, but like universal life it also develops an accumulation account based on current interest and mortality rates.

CIT provides unique premium and pour-in features. The premiums, which are guaranteed to be level, are payable for the insured's lifetime. The pour-in provision allows the policy owner to pay an amount of money in addition to the required premium payment, enabling the insured to accumulate cash values or additional death benefit. The plan offers the policy owner the option to have premium payments paid by the excess of cash surrender value over the guaranteed cash value.
